We enjoyed our stay in a spacious triple room, and the location was perfect for day trips to nearby attractions like Seljalandsfoss. The hot tub was a wonderful treat after a long day of exploring, and we loved that the hotel is pet-friendly, accommodating our non-service dog.
In my wife’s opinion, a non-slip surface in the tub would be a great improvement for families traveling with young children.

During my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the included breakfast with traditional Icelandic options. The convenience of nearby amenities made it easy to stock up for day trips. The hot tubs offered a nice way to unwind after exploring the outdoors. The room was spacious and had a waterfall shower that was effective after an active day outside. It felt rewarding as I tend to enjoy moments of relaxation during my travels as a couple.
The decor seemed dated and the restaurant and hotel billing systems were somewhat disconnected. It required paying separately for meals, which was inconvenient. The tubs closed early, limiting usage during longer days.
